The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of individuals from various segments of the community; parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/industry people and other interested community members. The sole purpose of the SAC is to "assist in the preparation and evaluation of the school improvement plan." [ Florida Statute 229.58] If you are interested in serving on our School Advisory Council, we meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6pm. The PTSA , parent teacher student association, meets immediately following our SAC meeting. The PTSA is a group that works to integrate home and school. Families are an essential part of developing and maintaining the educational effort of all those we serve. The PTSA strives to create opportunities for families to partner with Piedmont Lakes Middle School and our community for the benefit of ALL of our Piedmont Lakes Middle School family. Everyone has a part to play in the improvement of our schools. Remember…today’s students are tomorrow’s citizens.
